You’re here because you instinctively know what science continues to demonstrate: young children thrive on music. Experience a Kindermusik music class with your child and see why we’re the world’s leading music-and-movement program for children in early childhood. And, as we say, a good beginning never ends.
FLUTE
The flute is one of the most versatile instruments. It is a great solo instrument, capable of playing all kinds of music, including classical, religious, jazz, pop, and modern. The fact that it can be carried in a small case in a handbag is a big plus. Thanks to technology, there are now excellent student models available from plastic to metal, that suit every budget.
Rental flutes are also a great option to start, if a parent first wants to determine if their child is going to enjoy the instrument.
HOMESCHOOLERS
Would you like to make music part of your homeschool curriculum? Look no further. We offer a lot more than only music classes. Our Kindermusik programs offer opportunities to practice social and emotional skills + they come with new monthly themes, age appropriate books, games and all the music which is used in class. We will send you the themes and focus for the month ahead of time, so that you can plan your crafts, field trips, and library visits accordingly. Our live, virtual 30 minute classes bring the joy and learning right into your home. Have some homeschool friends? Invite them to your house and enjoy the fun and learning together.
SPECIAL NEEDS
Occupational Octaves Piano Method for Students with Special Needs This is a very effective way to teach students to play challenging music in a simple language. The focus of these classes will be to provide the means to enjoy playing the piano/keyboard. This method works well for learners with basic color and letter matching skills.
"Music is the universal language of mankind."
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
